From June 7–10, the Gentherm team was on the ground at NeoCon, connecting with designers, manufacturers and innovators shaping the future of commercial furniture and interior environments.
At our booth, we focused on telling a cohesive story, connecting our automotive heritage to our growing capabilities in human research and our expansion into office, healthcare and beyond. By walking visitors through that journey, we were able to show not just what we do, but how our capabilities come together to support comfort in a more meaningful way.

This narrative resonated with attendees, particularly as expectations around workplace performance and well-being continue to evolve.
From Features to Physiology
A notable takeaway from this year’s show was the growing appreciation for solutions rooted in scientific understanding of the human body. While many products at NeoCon emphasized comfort features, we found that our expertise in physiology, human factors and biomedical engineering resonated in a different way.
Based on conversations at the booth, many visitors were surprised by the depth of our scientific expertise and our understanding of how the body responds to thermal and massage inputs. This signals an important industry shift: moving from furniture that simply feels good to solutions designed to support human performance, recovery and well-being.

Our pneumatic massage technologies sparked curiosity and conversation. Many visitors were surprised to learn that the same air-based systems can be applied across both relaxation-focused recliners and more clinical seating environments, reinforcing how a single innovation can scale across use cases without sacrificing performance.
At the same time, thermal management continues to be a key differentiator. By embedding heating and cooling directly into the seating surface, we can help support:
