Blanketrol® III
System
The Blanketrol III System, consisting of the Blanketrol III unit and a broad portfolio of blankets and kits, is designed to precisely deliver targeted temperature management to patients. Trusted by hospitals for over 60 years, the Blanketrol System is an affordable solution and can be used in nearly any situation where a caregiver needs to reduce, maintain or elevate a patient’s temperature.
The stories of the lives we've impacted with our temperature management technology. These Moments of Impact remind us how critical our solutions are to helping medical professionals save lives.
The Gentherm portfolio of water blankets includes convenient, pre-packaged kits as well as single-use and reusable options in a variety of sizes for adult, pediatric and neonatal use. Gentherm blankets are specifically designed to work with the Blanketrol device to deliver optimal therapy to patients.
Note: Other manufacturers’ blankets have not been tested for safety or performance and are not approved by the FDA to work with Gentherm’s Blanketrol System. Only Gentherm blankets should be used with the Blanketrol device.
The strong bonded, random flow pattern of the Maxi-Therm Lite blankets allow for the blankets to be positioned over or under a patient while maintaining even temperature distribution. They are covered on both sides in a soft, lightweight material that’s comfortable against a patient’s skin and the self-sealing hose connections make it mess-free for clinicians to use.
Multiple sizes available.
The Kool-Kit includes multiple blankets to maximize body surface coverage and accurate temperature control for both cooling and warming. The convenience of the Kool-Kit provides caregivers with all of the materials necessary to deliver therapy.
Various configurations available.
The Kool-Kit Neonate System includes the necessary supplies to provide accurate patient temperature management and induced hypothermia for neonates. The Kool-Kit comes with a blanket, temperature probe, mittens and socks to allow for family contact without compromising patient temperature.
The Gelli-Roll pad combines patient temperature management with comfort. The pad is a reusable water blanket encapsulated in soft, compressible polymer gel that conforms to the patient’s body shape and may be used before, during or after surgery.
PlastiPad reusable blankets are constructed of durable urethane and have a non-porous surface that is easy to clean. These blankets may resist punctures and have a seam strength that prolongs the life of the blankets. The blanket utilizes a random flow pattern for uniform distribution of water, yielding fast and efficient circulation throughout the entire blanket to provide effective patient therapy.
Multiple sizes available.
The Staff Vest helps keep the surgical team comfortable throughout a procedure and is designed to circulate water evenly and effectively without the mess of ice. With the Blanketrol III, surgeons and their staff can pre-condition and control the water temperature for both warming or cooling.
One size fits most and has adjustable Velcro® straps.
The 286 hose is used to connect all Gentherm blankets/pads/wraps to the Blanketrol III, Norm-O-Temp® or Hemotherm®.
Our sterile temperature probes offer accuracy and convenience. The esophageal/rectal probes are designed for adults, pediatrics and infants/newborns in surgery/critical care units, and long-term temperature applications on medical/surgical floors. The skin surface probes attach easily to the skin with an adhesive-backed foam pad for use in a wide range of medical and surgical applications.
